Yes! Installation takes only a moment: we always recommend flipping off power at your breaker box to the outlet(s) you are working with, then simply unscrew the existing cover plate and pop it off, then snap our cover plate on in its place and replace the screw to hold it secure. That's it!

This is a genius invention
These are easy to install - just remove the old faceplate and replace it with the lighted version - love that I still have 2 usable outlets. They provide ample light at night. If you put one in a dark corner and it's cloudy outside, it tends to stay on during the day (the one in the photo). Otherwise the light detection on/off works well. Thinking I may buy some more to use on our lower level.

Not in the dark anymore
When I got this product, I was not sure if it was going to be effective enough for me. However, it was very bright and helpful when walking in the hallway at night, No more walking into the corner of the couch or banging into the bathroom door. I like how easy it was to install. Which electrical receptacles are SnapPower products compatible with?
SnapPower products are for 120V outlets and light switches only. The outlet products function with the vast majority of standard duplex, decor, and GFCI receptacles, and the light switch products function with toggle and rocker receptacles. They are not compatible with non-standard outlets or switches, including USB chargers, dimmer switches, smart switches, etc.
What color temperature are the LED lights?
The LED lights in our lighting products are a neutral white temperature, slightly on the warmer side (approximately 3,500-4,000 Kelvins.)
Are SnapPower products ETL or UL listed?
